Norfolk & Norwich Hospital Extension

Major Hospital Extension Planning Application Submitted

Bramhall Town Planning, working with architects and masterplanners at IBI Group, have prepared and submitted a planning application for Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.

The application seeks full planning permission for the comprehensive extension of ward facilities.

The proposal responds directly to the urgent need to provide for acute care as a result of long-standing shortfalls in inpatient capacity which is causing signifcant detrimental impact to the inpatient pathways, the elective programme and patient safety due to large numbers of patients in inappropriate settings.

Bramhall Town Planning provided planning strategy advice, and co-ordinated the planning application submission.

The application will progress through to determination which is expected to be in the Autumn.
