New Planning Fees

The Government have amended the planning fees regulations to introduce new fees for prior approval applications under the General Permitted Development Order 2015.

These fees will apply from 30th July 2021 as follows:

• £96 for the enlargement of a dwelling house by construction of additional storeys made under Class AA of Part 1 of Schedule 2 of the General Permitted Development Order.

• £96 for the erection, extension or alteration of university buildings made under class M of Part 7 of Schedule 2 of the GPDO.

• £100 per dwelling house for the change of use form Commercial, Business and Service use (Class E) to residential use (Class C3) under Class MA of Part 3 of Schedule 2 of the GPDO.
