Planning Red Tape Reduced on Rural Buildings

New legislation comes into force today that provides greater flexibility for Agriculture to Residential conversions.


AGRICULTURAL TO RESIDENTIAL


The key changes to the PD Rights (Class Q) include:


  • Must have been part of an agri unit prior to 24.07.23;


  • Change of use to up to 10 dwellings;


  • Up to a total of 1,000 sq.m can change to C3;


  • The maximum size of any dwelling is now 150 sq.m


Extensions are now allowed - subject to conditions.
